About the event
Join us during Black Maternal Health Week for a special screening of More Life, followed by an engaging fireside chat with doulas, mothers, and advocates dedicated to advancing Black maternal health.
We believe this intention of care for Black women is essential for all people. Within More Life, we are committed to preventing and decreasing the Black maternal health and Black infant mortality crisis. We know health disparities with racism at its root is sickening and impacts the entire village and nation. Infant vitality is a health indicator in which the U.S. remains challenged as it relates to Black babies. Maternal deaths have decreased across the country for everyone except BLACK WOMEN.
The MORE LIFE RETREAT has been curated by women in genuine sisterhood aiming to repower ourselves and return to the truth of who we are while navigating chronic stress and challenging systems.
